Recent forest fires in the Amazon Rainforest have destroyed 83% more forest than the entire loss in 2018. Animals, plants & people have been strongly affected by this & all for the clearance of land for cattle farming. In September the full fire season is due to start & end in November. Time is running out & there are charities working hard to stop these & repair the damage.
CoolEarth is one of these charities. The only way to halt destruction is to align the future of the rainforest with the people best placed to protect it. This means placing forest in the hands of the people who rely on its survival for their survival. Cool Earth does just that.
