Come enjoy two work-in-progress shows! Maddie Campion (“very inventive and dry writer ★★★★” – Funny Women) and Nathan Roberts (as heard on BBC Radio 4xtra) showcase their up-and-coming hours.

Nathan Roberts: Saboteur

Nathan Roberts is obsessed with film. This love of movies has caused him to interpret the world through the lens of cinema and apply a logic onto an existence which is anything but logical. With his much anticipated debut Nathan tells the true story of a long story gone wrong using the tropes of a rom-com to explore the danger that comes with believing the lies that the movies sell us.

Maddie Campion: Truly Maddie Deeply.

Out of curiosity and with an open mind, Maddie went to see a psychic.  He told her she had a good spirit, but an old man’s ghost is having sex with her and it’s keeping living men away.  In this show Maddie investigates her status and attempts to get to the bottom of things: is it her, or is it the ghost?

Maddie Campion is a BBC New Comedy Award nominee, has been seen as a comedy performer on The Next Step and Asda’s ‘Progrigio’ web campaign, and her 40 minute Edfringe 2018 show was described as ""a show like no other” – Daily Info.
